This is the personal website of Julian Jessop, where you can find my blog posts, a full biography, and contact page.
I’m an independent economist with over thirty-five years of experience gained in the public sector, the City and consultancy. My interests include:
- UK and global economics and statistics
- Fiscal and monetary policy
- Health economics, especially care in old age
- Labour markets
- Poverty and inequality
- Environmental economics
- Asset pricing
All my educational, policy and social media activities are unpaid, including everything I do for the IEA, Speakers for Schools, the Geller Commission, and the RSA, although I still earn some income from providing economic advice to investment committees and from writing and presenting.
