This is the personal website of Julian Jessop, where you can find my blog posts, a brief biography and contact details.
I’m an independent economist with over thirty years of professional experience gained in the public sector, the City and consultancy. I have a wide range of interests, including fiscal and monetary policy, health economics, labour markets and asset pricing. I’m particularly keen on data and charts.
I now work mostly on a ‘pro bono’ basis with think tanks and educational charities, including schools and universities. I also still earn some money from commercial work (mainly advising companies in the financial sector) and from writing, presenting and speaking engagements. I’m a regular on TV and radio.
There is more in the about me section of this site.
