This is the personal website of Julian Jessop, where you can find my blog posts, a brief biography and contact details.
I’m an independent economist and commentator, with over thirty years of professional experience gained in the public sector, the City and consultancy. I have a wide range of interests, including economic policy, labour markets and asset pricing. Currently my main focus is (of course) the economics of the coronavirus pandemic.
I now work mainly on a ‘pro bono’ basis with think tanks and educational charities, including schools and universities. I also still earn some money from advisory work, writing and presenting.
There is more in the about me section of this site.
